1. Information SetPulse May Process
Depending on the features you use, SetPulse may process the following categories of information:
- Fitness and workout data: routines, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, duration, training volume, workout history, progress, goals, and related strength-training information.
- Apple Health data: with your permission, SetPulse may read or write supported workout information such as completed workouts, heart rate during supported workouts, and active energy when available.
- Account information: if you choose to sign in, information provided through Sign in with Apple, which may include a user identifier, name, and email address depending on what you choose to share.
- Purchase information: subscription or lifetime purchase status needed to unlock SetPulse Pro features. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card or bank details.
- App usage and diagnostics: limited product-interaction and diagnostic information may be collected through analytics and platform services to understand feature usage, reliability, crashes, and performance.
- Device or installation identifiers: identifiers generated by platform or analytics services may be used for app functionality, security, entitlement handling, analytics, or cloud synchronization.
2. How We Use Information
- log and display workouts, routines, history, progress, personal records, and training summaries;
- sync compatible workout information between iPhone and Apple Watch;
- provide Apple Health integration when you grant permission;
- verify purchases and enable SetPulse Pro features;
- provide optional cloud backup and restore for eligible Pro users who enable it;
- maintain app security, reliability, diagnostics, and performance;
- understand general product usage and improve SetPulse.
3. Local Storage
Your SetPulse workout history is primarily stored locally on your device. Local workout data remains available without creating a SetPulse account, subject to normal device storage, backup, deletion, and operating-system behavior.
4. Optional Cloud Backup
Eligible SetPulse Pro users may choose to use cloud backup and restore. When enabled, supported SetPulse data may be transmitted to and stored using cloud infrastructure associated with your authenticated account. Cloud backup is optional and is not required for basic workout logging.
5. Apple Health
Apple Health access is optional. SetPulse requests only the Health permissions needed for supported workout features. Health data is used to provide health and fitness functionality inside the app and is not used for advertising.
You can manage SetPulse's Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
6. Purchases
SetPulse uses Apple's App Store and StoreKit for purchases and subscriptions. Apple processes your payment information. SetPulse receives purchase and entitlement information necessary to determine which features you can access.
7. Analytics and Third-Party Services
SetPulse may use third-party infrastructure or analytics services, including Firebase services, for features such as authentication, optional cloud backup, analytics, diagnostics, and app reliability. These providers may process limited information on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Tracking and Advertising
SetPulse does not use your workout or Apple Health data for third-party advertising. SetPulse is not designed around advertising-based tracking.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers as needed to operate SetPulse, comply with law, protect users or the service, or when you explicitly choose to share information, such as using a workout share card.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Local SetPulse data remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or use available deletion controls, subject to device and system backup behavior. If cloud backup is enabled, cloud-stored data may remain until it is deleted through available account or data controls, or as otherwise required for legitimate operational or legal purposes.
11. Children
SetPulse is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the request.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for the information handled by SetPulse. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SetPulse evolves or as legal and platform requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
